This PlayBox is best introduced between 0-12 weeks.

In their first three months, babies can only see strong contrasts of dark and light. That’s why this PlayBox is full of beautiful black and white toys, carefully chosen to help your little one get to know the big wide world around them.

Each play item comes with information explaining what it is and how best to play! As part of your PlayBox, you’ll also receive a digital PlayPack, filled with extra tips, tricks, and ideas for sensory play.

Our latest modern, minimalist wooden PlayGym is available as an add-on. Use our hanging pendants or add your own, this gym comes with nine attachment holes and nine small straps to attach fun playthings above your little one. 

Important Note: All of our products are checked before leaving PlayLogy HQ. However, if items are used incorrectly and breakage occurs they may become a choking hazard. Please check regularly and discard at the first sign of wear. Do not alter in any way and always use under adult supervision.

BLACK AND WHITE BOOK

This clever introductory book is freestanding, foldable, and made of fabric. Baby's World Cot Book is perfect for your baby's first six months, as the black and white images are designed to assist newborn eyes to focus.

SENSORY CUBE

This sensory cube might look simple, but to your new baby it’ll be fascinating. With different textures and contrasting black and white features, it has all the ingredients for an engaging activity and hours of fun. The cube’s fabrics, ribbon, and natural wood are made to encourage both fine and gross motor skills.

  • Size: 12cm x 12cm
  • Material: Made of polyester for easy cleaning. Wooden rings are finished with non-toxic, water-based varnish. The rings are not recommended as a teether.
  • Detail: There is a gentle rattling noise when shaken.

ROUND RATTLE

This rattle was made for little hands to grasp and for little mouths to chew. Grabbing is a basic reflex that babies have from day one, so this rattle is ideal for newborns. Grasping helps babies learn to open and close their hands, which supports their budding fine motor skills.

ACTIVITY GYM PENDANTS

These stimulating activity gym toys will get your baby practicing reaching up, building their hand-eye coordination and visual tracking skills. Ribbons and one hanging rod are included within the PlayBox.

  • Size: 30cm in length with varying widths (10cm maximum)
  • Material: Wood and felt.
  • Detail: The set includes three hanging pendants, plus black and white ribbons and one hanging rod. Please note, due to the nature of this product there could be minor imperfections in the wood.

BLACK AND WHITE CARDS

Bold, high-contrasting, black and white patterns and shapes are proven to do a better job of promoting visual and brain development than bright colours. Designed for newborn babies, these double-sided high contrasting black and white pictures are great for your baby’s visual development.

This is available for 0-18-month PlayBoxes. For Toddler PlayBoxes 19-24-months we include a complimentary PlayBag to put all of the playthings safely away.

    For 'Click and Collect' from Mount Eden, Auckland use the code 'CLICK' at the checkout and we will be in contact with you to arrange a collection time. There is no charge for this. Same day collection is possible, please send us a message first to check Hello@PlayLogy.co.nz  

    When will my PlayBox arrive?
    All PlayLogy orders are shipped on the next business day. PlayBoxes will usually arrive (and the fun can start!) in 2-5 business days.

    How do I return or exchange my PlayBox?
    We want both you and your baby to be totally happy with your PlayBox. If there’s a problem with yours, please contact us a Hello@PlayLogy.co.nz. We accept returns in their original packaging, within 14 days of purchase. Just let us know your order number and your reason for returning your PlayBox. Return shipping will be at the customer's cost. Any notes of damaged or defective goods need to be sent to us within 7 days of receiving your PlayBox. We will provide a shipping label to return the items to us.
